Packers and processors file amicus brief in R-CALF v. USDA case

The seemingly never-ending litigation between RCALF and USDA regarding Canadian beef and cattle trade entered its latest phase on Jan. 27, when five trade associations filed an amicus brief asking the U.S. District Court in Montana to deny R-CALF's recent motion for a hearing and summary judgment.
