Potplants from A to Z: new and interesting pot plants seen at the international flower trade show

At the 1998 International Flower Trade Show in Aalsmeer, 3 to 7 November, there were a lot of introductions in floriculture as usual. To make a difference between products for trade and consumers or novelties for growers, they are named differently. Market introductions are available in quantities large enough for the trade to have a constant flow of the product, so it is already grown by growers and sold at the auction or other places. Product introductions are totally new, and exhibited by breeders or propagators to show to the growers and get them interested in growing the product. As far as possible the difference in introduction type is made in this article.
