DIC develops a new series of pyrolytic fluorosurfactants

DIC advanced and began full-scale sales of its Megaface DS line of pyrolytic fluorosurfactants. The series includes innovative proprietary products featuring key polymer design and organic molecular design. Upon heating to 200 degC, the products permit dissociation of the fluoro groups oriented on the surface, thereby generating a coating film surface tension akin to that of coatings with zero fluorosurfactants.
