Omsk Techuglerod LLC, one of the world's top ten carbon black producers, is committed to investing up to ?300 M to build a new West European logistics centre in the province of Nordrhein-Westfalen. The precise location has not yet been identified. The centre will include a sales office and a laboratory, as well as warehousing facilities to accommodate up to 2000 tonnes of carbon black products. Annual throughput is expected to be of the order of 70,000 tonnes. The centre will be operated by a wholly-owned subsidiary, Omsk Carbon GmbH, with a workforce of about 30 people.
