More DAP demand emerges as prices slip further

Phosphates is the main interest at the moment among importers with several cargoes having been booked over the last couple of weeks. DAP stocks are high at warehouses but movement to the domestic market is still slow. Farmers are occupied with wheat planting at the moment and focused only on depleting current DAP stocks. There is no interest in re-stocking as further price drops are anticipated. Those that require DAP are happy to purchase at the last minute having witnessed the consistent price declines over the last few weeks.
