ABOCOL completes nitrogen expansions

COLOMBIA'S ABOCOL said this week it has completed the expansion of its integrated production facilities and raised its nitrogen production capacity. The company added 83,000 mt/year of nitric acid capacity, 82,000 mt/year of ammonium nitrate solution and 100,000 mt/year of calcium nitrate output. ABOCOL spent $46 million on the new capacity, with construction taking just 17 months.
