Trade slows and prices remain under pressure

Market activity is relatively subdued as traders, importers and endusers continue to seek guidance on forward values for granular and prilled urea, and Europeans struggle with the weak euro that had slipped below $1.16 during the day. Brazilian buyers are largely sidelined and unwilling to do repeat trades at last week's numbers, and US barge values are also under pressure. Trades in bargeloads reached $330/st FOB from prompt tons, and $328/st FOB and $323/st FOB for February and March positions respectively.
