(0.977-x)(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3-0.023Bi(0.5)(Na0.9K0.1)(0.5)TiO3-xSrZrO(3) (KNN-BNKT-xSZ) ceramics were prepared by solid-state reaction conventional technique, and the effects of the substitution of SZ on the phase structure and piezoelectric properties of the ceramics were investigated. No secondary phase was identified by X-ray diffrcation analysis, indicating that SZ has completely diffused into the lattice and formed the solid solutions. With the increase of x, the orthorhombic-tetragonal phase transition temperature of the ceramics shifted slightly toward lower temperature. The piezoelectric properties were improved by adding a small amount of SZ, and the optimum piezoelectric performances of d(33) = 315 pC/N and k(p) = 43% were obtained at x = 0.05.
