摘要

Organic acids and their salts present a promising alternative to antibiotic use in improving the health and growth of culture animals. In a laboratory trial, juvenile Pangasius given a diet with 0.2% potassium diformate (KDF) had better weight gain, feed conversion and survival than fish that did not receive KDF. In a field trial in Vietnam testing similar inclusion, Pangasius in the treated group had greater weight gain and carcass yields than those in the negative control group.
