摘要

Some of the more promising alternatives to antibiotics for the treatment of tilapia are found in the group of organic acids and their salts. In a study, the authors evaluated the effects of feed supplementation with formic acid in the form of potassium diformate on the production of Nile tilapia. Juvenile tilapia that ate feed with 0.3% KDF had better final weights, growth rates and feed conversion than fish fed a control diet.
