Transient waterlogging limits the yield potential of wheat in high-rainfall areas. But CSIRO Plant Industry researchers are aiming at developing wheats with better tolerance of subsurface waterlogging. CSIRO research could lead to the development of new wheat varieties with better tolerance of transient waterlogging.
