To grow properly, the bones of fish must be sufficientlymineralized. Optimal dietary supplies of vitamin and minerals can help minimize malformations. Early diagnosis followed by appropriate measures can help to avoid skeletal deformities. Good-quality x-rays and possible additional histological analysis arerequired.
