With new-season lamb prices at an all time high, creep feeding could be a cost-effective way of getting the most from the trade, but only after careful consideration of liveweight gain targets, grass availability and premium prices. It is well worth turning over lambs as quickly as possible says consultant David Evans, Rural Options. "Quicker turnover is good news.
