摘要

Middle East Since the start of 2013 there has been an increased emphasis on the use of alternative fuels In the Middle Eastern cement industry as producers recoil from subsidy reductions in a number of countries. The Egyptian cement industry, already suffering irregular demand due to ongoing political issues, has been dealing with a sudden and pronounced rise in fuel prices. The price of mazot, a type of heavy-duty fuel oil, has increased by around 2.5 times since the end of 2012. Electrical supplies are also increasing in price and remain unreliable.
