The grain and feed industries are key links in the chain that brings food from farm to table, but it does not exist in a vacuum. In the first of a neiv series of interviews, Grain Journal will solicit the views of key spokespersons for producer organizations and other industries that impact directly on the operation of grain elevators and feed mills. We turn first to the National Sorghum Producers, who recently instituted a national research and marketing checkoff that is collected at the "point of first purchase," effectively the grain elevator and feed mill.
