For country elevator grain merchandisers who provide marketing services for producers, those marketing advisory services, available online or by subscription represent "the competition." But how well do they really do? That's the focus of a long-termproject underway at the University of Illinois (U of I), Urbana. The Agricultural Market Advisory Services (AgMAS) Project in December released its latest report, titled 1999 Pricing Performance of Market Advisory Services for Corn and Soybeans.
