摘要

Acomposite based on polycrystalline cubic boron nitride with a refractory binder, distinguished by a high degree of homogeneity of the distribution of phases, was obtained by thermobaric machining on a cubic press at pressure 6.0 GPa and temperature 1450A degrees C. The uniformity of the microstructure of the large-size composite was confirmed by means of XPA, SEM, and XSMA. Mechanical tests and impact cutting tests of hardened steel proved the high strength of the composite. In summary, composites fabricated by means of this technology can be recommended for use in the mining industry.
