The book I am covering this month has made me reflect on many aspects that we are losing today in the Poultry Fancy. Change happens in every field I know, but it saddens me to see the demise of the exhibition world as so many of our mentors are no longer with us. We all learn as time passes that we can only progress in any field by sheer experience, gathering knowledge from those who trod our path before us and learning that this cannot be gained by just reading magazines.
