Since its foundation in Arnsberg (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) in 1951, the company Sauerland Spanplatte has produced particle boards using the extrusion method. This special manufacturing technique has been developed and refined successfully for over 55 years. Currently, 36 modern presses produce about 570,000m3 of Sauerland Board each year in the most diverse varieties. With approximately 300 workers the family-owned company is firmly established and is the market leader for cores for interior doors.
