Owens Corning acquires Thermafiber

US: Owens Corning (OC) has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Thermafiber Inc., a leading manufacturer of mineral wool commercial and industrial insulation products. The acquisition, which includes a 145,000ft~2 manufacturing location in Wabash, Indiana, USA, provides OC with a broad insulation portfolio now encompassing fibreglass, foam and mineral wool insulation products.
