Nuffield Scholar, David Northcroft, spoke to a gathering of Victorian berry farmers in January, outlining differences between what he had witnessed in the Australian berry industry during his one-month visit and that of his homeland, the UK. Mr Northcroft was awarded the international scholarship, which is also available in Australia, to travel across the world and bring back his findings to the UK. "I was fortunate enough to be given a Nuffield Farming Scholarship," he said. "It's a great opportunity to travel around the world studying a topic and taking back what I learn."
