Wacker Chemie launches expanded Chinese plant

China: Wacker Chemie AG officially ramped up its new production plant for vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer (VAE) dispersions at its Nanjing site in Jiangsu Province, China on 22 April 2012. With the additional 60,000t/yr from the second reactor line, the local VAE dispersion capacity will double to 120,000t/yr.The plant complex is thus one of the largest of its kind in China.
