Clariant, Lummus Novolen to Collaborate on PP-Catalyst Development

Clariant International Ltd., a leading specialty-chemical company based in Switzerland, announced August 22 that is signed long-term cooperation agreements CB&I’s Lummus Novelen Technology business to research and develop improved polypropylene (PP) and donor technologies. Once completed, all Lummus Novolen licensees, as well as other PP producers, will have access to the new “state-of-the-art Ziegler-Natta polypropylene-catalyst production line.”
