Visitor to Thompson Enamel

Canadian Enameler Solange Lefebvre and husband Pierre Gelinas spent time visiting Thompson Enamel in April 2006. Solange has been an enameler for over 30 years, and has participated in International Exhibitions with her work in France, Japan, Spain, Germany, Canada and the U.S. and give the imagery the appearance of 'floating' above the metal base. His work is fired to smooth glassy finishes, as he doesn't care for a textured surface; it's "...unprofessional to me. [It] has to be [a] glass-like perfect surface, due to my training under Vera Ronnen, who is a perfectionist!"
