摘要

Zeolites framework contains channels and windows of molecular dimensions that are based on an infinitely extending three-dimensional network of AlO4 and SiO4 tetrahedra linked to each other by sharing all of the oxygens. Due to these features, they are used as ion-exchangers, adsorbents, molecular sieves, and catalysts in industrial processes. For various applications, transition-metal ions are often introduced into ion-exchangeable site of zeolites by conventional ion-exchange methods.
