Targa's Joyce: NGL Dropdown Acquisition Important for Growth

While speaking at the recent National Association of Publicly Traded Partnerships Master Limited Partnerships Investor Conference in Old Greenwich, Conn., Targa Resources Partners LP officials emphasized that the company's decision to acquire the NGL businesses from its parent, Targa Resources Inc., in a US$530 million dropdown acquisition (see Gas Proces- sors Report 09/30/09) puts them in a league with Enterprise Products Partners LP for NGL operations in an MLP.
