ConocoPhillips Didn't Contribute its #3 Plant in the U.S.,San Juan,but Gave Up its #3 Plant in Empress,Alberta,Canada,to Gain 20% More of Duke Energy Field Services.The former had been widely expected in the midstream industry,(see previous story) but the way it wound up,a different jewel in the COP midstream crown was sacrificed in last spring's deal that saw ConocoPhillips vault from 30% to 50% ownership of Duke Energy Field Services.
