Eni finalises sale of TAG pipeline to Italian state holding company CDP

Eni said today it has sold off 89% of its existing shares in the TAG pipeline, which transports Russian gas to Italy, to the state holding company Cassa depositi e prestiti Spa (CDP). The sale provides for the payment of ? 483 million ($ 697.95 million), plus reimbursement of a shareholder loan granted to the TAP pipeline company equal to ?192 million, Eni revealed.
