Andy Samuel starts as UK Oil and Gas Authority chief

Former BG Group executive Andy Samuel has begun his new role as CEO of the UK’s Oil and Gas Authority (OGA), the body set up to maximise the country’s North Sea oil and gas resources, the government announced this week. The OGA has been set up on the recommendation of Sir Ian Wood, as part of the Wood Review commissioned last year by the government into how the UK can make more of its North Sea oil and gas assets.
