Indonesia is planning a major overhaul of its approval process for buying and selling LNG and gas products, officials said on Wednesday. The announcement comes as part of efforts to cut red tape and boost the country’s dwindling ability to sell spot LNG. Government energy advisor Widhyawan Prawiraatmadja told reporters that Indonesia is developing new measures to reduce the number of approvals needed to buy and sell LNG, some of which are already taking effect.
