CWC: Transport fuel-switching key to Indian demand growth - Petronet

Fuel-switching in the transport sector will offer the biggest opportunities for Indian gas demand growth, state-owned Petronet CEO Prabhat Singh said at the CWC Conference in Rome on Thursday. Economics in India heavily favour gas and replacing only 5% of liquids with natural gas could shave USD 2.5 billion off end-user costs, Singh said.
