Santos revenue down in Q3, despite LNG plant launch

Santos’ revenue from hydrocarbon sales in Q3 was more than 20% lower year on year at USD 808 million, despite higher LNG production, the company said in its latest quarterly results. The Australian company produced 14.5 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) during the third quarter, up 3.5% year on year. Output was composed mainly of gas and ethane (53%), followed by LNG (23%), crude oil (15%), condensate (6%) and LPG (2%).
