Repsol to divest EUR 6.2 billion and cut CAPEX by 38%

Spanish Repsol is looking to divest EUR 6.2 billion (USD 7.1 billion) worth of non-strategic assets and cut spending by 38% over the coming five years, the company said in a strategic plan released on Thursday. Its strategic plan 2016 - 2020 highlights divestments to be made in the upstream and downstream sectors. Under the plan half of the divestments, totalling EUR 3.6 billion (USD 3.55), will be executed over the next two years.
