Drilling against the tide

REI Drilling has been in operation for more than 30 years, providing specialised directional drilling services primarily to the underground coal-mining sector.The contractor has, however, continued to add drills to its fleet and has expanded its customer base to include other mining sectors and the civil industry. In 2008, REI formed DPI (Drilling Product Inc) to supply down-hole directional drilling tools and accessories and develop tools for internal use and third-party sales. This synergy gives DPI the ability to provide field-proven down-hole drilling products - by drillers, for drillers.
