MITCHELL Group, a leading provider of drilling and geophysical services to the coal and energy sectors, has signed its first drilling contract in Mozambique with Riversdale Mining to work on the key blocks in its current phase of exploration. Mitchell seized the chance to broaden its footprint in southern Africa in the coal-rich Tete area, while pursuing several of its own resource projects in Botswana and the sub-Saharan region.
