This is the summary of the parallel session mathematical cosmology (B6) at the GR20/Amaldi10 meeting in Warsaw, Poland, 2013. This parallel session, which consisted of three separate subsessions, essentially dealtwith threemain themes,which I will discuss in turn (the order does not necessarily reflect the order of presentations at the conference).
