Coumarins from Phebalium aff. brachycalyx.

摘要

Aboveground parts of the Phebalium brachycalyx shrub were collected from Western Australia. Dried powdered twigs and leaves were extracted and thereafter extracts were subjected to column chromatography and preparative thin layer chromatography. Twenty-two known coumarins were identified based on their spectral data. All the secondary metabolites isolated from the aerial parts of the plant belong to the coumarin series, revealing the chemical homogeneity of the genus Phebalium. This is thought to be the first report of isogosferol, heraclenol monoacetate and 8-[(E)-6-hydroxy-3,7-dimethylocta-2,7-dienyloxy]psoralen from Rutaceae and the first report of 7-O-prenylumbelliferone, isomeranzin, auraptenol, xanthotoxol, isoheraclenin and 8-hydroxyxanthyletin from a Phebalium species..
