Plant of the future project launched, dubbed a technological showcase'

In a first for the industrial gases sector, Air Liquide's new project to create a remote operations and optimisation centre has been described as a 'technological showcase'. The venture, entitled 'Connect', is lead by the Tier One's Large Industries activities in France and will see the company invest ?20m ($22.5m) in the plant of the future project, which is expected to start operations in 2017.
