Endoscopic management of endoscopic submucosal dissection perforations: a new over-the-scope clip device.

We read with great interest the article by Parodi et al,1 who reported the usefulness of a new over-the-scope clip (OTSC) device for GI perforations. Their findings and conclusion are an important contribution to promote en-doscopic management of GI perforations. The authors showed in 10 patients with GI leak the efficacy and safety of a new OTSC device (Over-The-Scope-Clipping; Ovesco Endoscopy, Tubingen, Germany).
