Gazprom's key exploration activities in Kamchatka Peninsula: West Kamchatka offshore and North Kolpakovskoye field

The Russian Continental Shelf is known to be the world's longest: it encompasses 14 seas covering 6.3 million km2 total area. Offshore mineral resource holders are the legal entities established in accordance with the Russian law which assumes more than 50% government share and those with Russian offshore experience of five years or longer. Only two domestic majors, Gazprom and Rosneft, fall into this category.Asia Pacific is the fastest growing market in the energy world. And as it is expected to progressively expand in the future, Russian plans call for significant oil and gas additions to exports flow into these countries.
