The redesign of a 19th-century walled garden in East Sussex was inspired by the circles and angles in an abstract work of art. The brief. To redesign the walled garden of 19th century Fairlight Hall as part of a major redesign of the formal areas around the house. The walled garden was not listed and was completely derelict, and the brief was to bring back the working use of the garden in a contemporary way, but also to provide an outdoor performance space that could be used by local school childrenand as a venue for events.
