Sasol Mulls Canada GTL Project

Sasol announced December 20 that it's considering a gas-toliquids (GTL) project in Canada, tied to its just-completed deal with Talisman Energy to acquire a 50% stake in the Farrell Creek shale-gas assets in Montney, British Columbia. Sasol will pay C$1.05 billion (US$1.03 billion) for the stake, while Talisman will retain the other 50% and continue as operator of the Farrell Creek assets including gas gathering systems and processing facilities.
