GERMANY Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business enjoyed a second quarter of growth, more than doubling year-on-year operating profit despite rising raw material costs and a slight reduction in price levels.Volume increases in all regions and stricter cost management pushed second quarter operating profit to euro 222 million at the Dusseldorf, Germany-based company, compared to euro 95 million a year ago, as sales in the three months to the end of June increased 19.5% compared to the prior year to euro 1.89 billion.
