Premier pumps up volumes

Premier Oil upped output by 21% in 2009 to 44,200 boe/d from 36,500 boe/d in 2008, boosted by its acquisition of Oilexco. The company, which made a record profit after tax of US $113m in 2009, compared to $98.3m in 2008, said final development sanction for its UK North Sea Huntington and North Sumatra Block A projects are expected during 2010, with first oil and gas in 2012 or earlier.
