DSM's Stanyl chosen for ignition connector

MATERIALS Tier One supplier Delphi Automotive Systems is using Stanyl TW200F6 polyamide 46 compound from DSM to manufacture ignition connectors for an OEM customer. Delphi Portugal uses the material to produce the connectors, which are then soldered onto an ignition coil for 4 and 6 cylinder engines sent to the OEM. The ignition coil supplies electrical voltage and energy to ignite air-fuel mixtures in the engine's combustion chamber.
