Making a better impression

摘要

The IKV plastics processing institute at the RWTH university in Aachen,Germany,has developed a new laser-based technique to apply micro structural textures to extruded plastics films during production.The new technique uses a laser beam to selectively heat the surface of the metal rolls,which are usually used to apply an embossed surface structure on the film.
