TOOLING UK-based tool maker Midas Pattern has produced the ro- tational mould tooling for a new kayak manufac- tured by Fatyak Kayaks, a division of the UK-based rotational moulding company Deso Engineering. The Fatyak Mahee is a dual purpose family and fishing kayak. This one-piece, rota-tionally moulded, sea-faring kayak has no seams or joints, and offers moulded-in pad-eye fixings to provide leak protection. Fatyak developed the Mahee in collaboration with its design partner Black Arts Product Design.
