Wittmann shows its diversity

INJECTION Wittmann Group is using two stands at K 2013, with one showing its injection moulding machines and the other its robots and ancillary equipment. It says one highlight is the new MacroPower 1500, which establishes its position in the field of large injection moulding machines. The model extends Wittmann Battenfeld's MacroPower range to six sizes, going from 400 to 1,600 tonnes in clamping force. A ground shaft made of PP from Borealis will be manufactured in a mould supplied by IFW.
