ADDITIVES Imerys Talc will feature the advantages of mico-lamellar and hi-aspect ratio talcs at K2013. The company says they help sustainability because they are infinitely recyclable in end products. They are variously suited to film, thermoforming and blow moulding, using polyolefins and biopolymers. Mistrocell talcs help control cell size in foamed applications. Polyolefin composites using the nucleating agents show improved stiffness and uniform bubble distribution.
