LWB Steinl GmbH & Co KG of Germany, and French company REP Internationa] have formed a joint venture to manufacture and supply rubber injection moulding machines in China Both companies have been present in the country for many years but say they "barely overlap on the market" The JV, called United Rubber & Plastic Machinery (Langfang) Ltd, will manufacture machines designed exclusively for the Chinese market Production will be based at a new 2,500 square metre unit in Langfang, southeast of Beijing, which is due to be built by the yearend.
